There are three types of auto dialer software. CCS uses predictive dialer software, automatically calling a predetermined customer list. A predictive dialer often attempts to anticipate a contact’s availability and performs its calls accordingly.
Besides predictive dialers, the following are the other types of auto dialer software:
- Preview dialer: A preview dialer requires permission from a human agent before making calls. It’s usually less productive than predictive and power dialers.
Power dialer: Power dialer systems call every number on a predetermined list and direct responders to the representatives. It typically involves more wait time than predictive dialers, as it waits for new calls once the current ones have ended.
